Proficient Auto Transport is looking for qualified candidates with an interest in being a part of our Auto Transport Auto Hauler division. This position requires a high level of expertise in the logistical and shipping processes. It’s crucial that you’re knowledgeable in the needs of our customers, and that you can provide a high level of customer service while maintaining a high attention to detail.
As a Proficient Auto Transport Auto Hauler, your responsibilities will include driving our vehicles to and from ports, terminals, rail yards, and dealerships, and operation of our vehicles. You will work with our administration, operations, and dispatch departments to coordinate delivery lists and scheduling. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will be vital in making sure our customers receive their vehicle within the time frames they expect.

Responsibilities
- Transport units to and from their destinations
- Load/unload vehicles in a safe manner
- Report all damages prior to boarding vehicle
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Deliver vehicles to customers damage free
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Document and log work/rest periods via E-Log
- Input data into our electronic dispatch system
- Comply with DOT rules and regulations
- Report all accidents and/or violations
Requirements
- At least 23 years of age
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Have an acceptable MVR
- Pass a background check
- Current DOT medical certification
- Have or be able to obtain a TWIC badge
- Be able to sit (driving) for 8-10 hours a day
- Be able to withstand prolonged walking or standing
- Be able to squat, bend, climb, and twist body daily
- Have adaptability to handle unexpected situations
